Always very, very tasty food can only be recommended

Arrived quite late from long drive.Our host was kind enough to call this establishment if they can accommodate us, last minute. Well they did but not sure if it's our looks (we're Asians) but they didn't seem to be very friendly. Food was okay. Service? just a little okay but I and the whole family didn't feel that welcome in their restaurant. Mind you, my sister and cousins understands and speaks German so whatever was said, was understood.

Delicious food. Fair prices. Big portion. Rather not suitable for vegetarians, but rather schnitzel lovers.

Small, fine restaurant that looks inconspicuous from the outside. We had schnitzel (turkey / pork) with side dishes (fries, spaetzle and croquettes) and two sauces. It was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly Recommended.

Really great rooms, very clean, quiet, balcony overlooking the Elz, Smart TV. The food is also really good. The landlady, her husband and the other staff exude authentic hospitality.

Simply brilliant regional cuisine

Food is good, place is clean, prices are average. But the don't allow dogs in, not even in a low business day; that was a problem for me since I did not expect it. They forced me to leave my dog outside the restaurant. So I ate here very quicly, just because of lack of alternatives. That was not nice.

Was only there for coffee, so 4 stars, because otherwise I can not rate. At any rate, I would not go back for coffee ... That was not the bringer.

For many years we are here again and again. Very cheap, clean and the breakfast is great with everything you could wish for. The kitchen is very good and plentiful. Last visited in 2011.
